1. Service Description

Vireo DevPulse (“DevPulse”) provides developer skill tracking, quizzes, portfolio generation, recruiter search, and team dashboards. The service is operated by Vireo.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use DevPulse. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this age requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

3. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for the accuracy of profile details you publish or share. Do not use DevPulse to misrepresent employment history, credentials, or authorization to work. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your GitHub OAuth token and account session.

4. Acceptable Use

  • Do not scrape, resell, or export developer data outside intended product flows.
  • Recruiter accounts may only contact developers who have explicitly opted into recruiter visibility.
  • Do not attempt to bypass API rate limits, access controls, or premium feature gates.
  • Do not submit quiz questions that are copyrighted, offensive, or contain misinformation.
  • Do not use automated tools to take quizzes (no bots, no shared answer keys).

5. Premium Subscriptions

Paid plans (Premium, Recruiter, Team) renew automatically through Stripe or Google Play according to the checkout terms shown at purchase. You can cancel at any time from billing settings or through the payment provider. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled according to the respective provider’s refund policy.

6. Free Tier

The free tier includes basic GitHub analysis, 3 quizzes per month, and a starter portfolio. DevPulse may adjust free tier limits at any time with reasonable notice.

7. Intellectual Property

DevPulse owns the service, its design, and its quiz question bank. You retain ownership of your GitHub data, quiz answers, and portfolio content. By publishing a public portfolio, you grant DevPulse a non-exclusive license to display your portfolio content on the DevPulse platform.

8. Data Deletion

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from account settings. This triggers a cascade delete of all your data within 30 days, in compliance with GDPR Article 17.

9. Service Availability

DevPulse is provided “as is” without warranty of availability. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time. Critical features (authentication, billing, data access) are designed for high availability but are not guaranteed.

10. Limitation of Liability

DevPulse is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service. Total liability is limited to the amount paid in the preceding 12 months.

11. Account Suspension

DevPulse may suspend accounts that abuse API limits, attempt to bypass access controls, violate privacy expectations, or engage in fraudulent billing activity.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by Swedish law. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Sweden, unless otherwise required by mandatory consumer protection laws.
